I hear you sister. I didn't put a smiley on my post in reply to you (about wanting to vom) and someone said I should be banned! I have now updated the post with a winking smiley.

- you meet exciting expats, instead of the usual folk who moan about hangover, weather and lack of decent entertainment to fuel their TV addiction.

.............I dont freeze my womanly bits off when I go surfing in winter.
.............I dont have to always remember my umbrella
.............I dont have to pay to park my car in most places
.............I dont need a mortgage to refuel my car
.............I dont have to highlight my hair
.............I dont have to apologise when someone else bumps into me
.............I dont have to give way to the right

Just like it and am always pleased to get back here. My children were born here and think of themselves as Australian, so we get to have a dynasty

Life is pretty good here for us. Many things I love, a few I hate and some that just don't matter either way... Big plus for me is the climate, the great friends we have made here, the easy access to this side of the world for holidays and breaks and the increase in my social life.
Miss my elderly parents though.....

I love how my sons have blossomed, how they are living life to the fullest and are are always outside, and how healthy they look!
I love the space and the wildlife
I love the warm weather
I love the open skies
I love the positive people and how proud they are of Australia
I love the food, its the best in the world (next to New Zealand)
I love all the different people making their homes here... mostly in harmony
I love how there aren't groups of thugs wandering around that the police are afraid of (speaking from my experience of Aberdeen)
I love it because it is home :-)
