Google may take some time to add your site, and they also have a complex system of points to get into the top page ranks.

It may take a while before your site really gets noticed, but with a few links that I have just created, it may speed the process up

Another thing you could possibly do (if you have the time) is look for some trades oriented forums. I know this works for people (not necessarilly businesses though) who are looking for a tradesperson, they will research via forums to see if there are any recommendations. If you make your presence on a forum like this http://www.tacklebox.com.au/forums/b...ing-costs.html known or other similar places where people are after advice you may find yourself indirectly getting a good reputation and possibly some work?

Just a thought

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) or Search Engine Marketing (SEM) is what any website marketing company will do for you. There are certain things you can do yourself to help things along and if your competition isnt too rich it can be quite productive.

One big thing is 'backlinks' which is what you are using your signature for. Rather than just linking the website though, you should link it through 'anchor text' (which are basicaly your keywords).

A good link for you might be:

Aluminium Welding And Fabricating

As you can see, I havent actually listed the URL at all (well not that you can see anyway) so the site is linked by those very important keywords. Google loves that

If you look in my signature you'll see I've done the same thing - rather than linking directly to my site, I've done it through anchor text.

Also ensure that the content of your site is very keyword rich - think about what someone would enter into google in order to find your site, and make sure those words/phrases are in the content as much as possible (without it looking like spam of course!).

It would defintely be worth your while to do a bit of research on SEO - plenty of information online to help you out
