Hi Guys,
We are waiting for our PR to come through, but I was recently made redundant from the job I came over for, I have another job offer but I am told the HRSDC approval is going to take 4-8 weeks to come through. The company says they will need to fill the position if it takes more than 4 weeks. My work permit is good until 2011. Does anyone know if there is anything that can be done to get working sooner?? Thanks for any info. |

Hi
1. If you are approved for PNP you don't have implied status, the PNP will issued you a letter of support which you can use to obtain a work permit. You can't start a new job until you get the work permit.
