Hey,
Im new.
I currently live in the UK. I have a silly question to ask and thought I would ask on here as some of you may know the answer.
I was born in Rhodesia in 1974 left in 1975 to move to Saudi Arabia. I moved to the UK in 1986.
I would love to move back to Zimbabwe but realise it is not a good idea at present.
Anyway my question is... as I was born there does that give me citizenship? Could I move to SA?
Please excuse my lack of research but I thought this the best place the ask.
Hope to hear from you.
Fiona

Ideally, you should be recognized as a Zimbabwean by birth. Unfortunately with the way Mugabe and cronies see things, there is no guarantee that would be recognized. I gather your best bet is to apply and see what pans out. As for your question about moving to South Africa. That is another ball game entirely and depends on your qualifications. You are not a citizen of SA so are applying as a foreigner. Yup, far more research needs to be done on your end.
