Default Tsvangirai injured, wife killed

Bad news for what is left of the increasingly farcical "power sharing".

The whole thing tragic and I would like to think that it was purely an accident, but knowing how Mugabe works, I can't help thinking that there could be more to this. Mugabe would love this guy to just go away in every sense.

This stinks like Mrs ededed's Sunday roast.

MT has gapped it to Botswana - why would he do that if he wasn't in fear of his life?

MT himself was quick to allay any fears that it might have been anything other than an accident.
Pressure to keep the lie alive? maybe, who knows.

But If he knew that there was foul play that resulted in him losing his wife of 31 years. I doubt if he would keep mum about the whole thing. I wouldnt.

He "gapped" it to Botswana for additional tests and rest after receiving treatment at a private clinic in Harare. He is back in Zim already apparently.

I also wonder if his death accidentalor otherwise would undo the last couple of months of progress...albeit glacial.

Not sarcasm, cynicism. The days have gone when I believe anything that comes out of Zim - regardless of who says it.

News this morning is that Zim needs several billion dollars (US, sadly) just to keep essential services running. So out comes the begging bowl and Mad Bob's best smile. Hope he got that lobster and caviar out of his teeth first.

Well said, Ededed. And meanwhile the seizure of the last farms continues, and any media organisation that might actually expose the full horror of what is going on remains banned.

When the wreck is total and complete, guess who is going to be expected to fork out.

A lot of us thought this was pretty suspicious. Just too convenient for Mugabe and ZANU PF, but accidents do happen, and they're common enough in Africa. FWIW, I believe Diana Windsor died in a accident too, without the assistance of British Intelligence, the CIA, the Illuminati or anyone else.

Well maybe dis-Grace Mugabe has a sister. We can have two shopaholic first ladies !!

Theres a Souf Efrican proverb , Hy wat eerste ruik, het die stinkste geskuit. I'm not sure if its relevant but there you go.
