Not been on here for a while...just wondering how Hevs, Hup & littlies, plus Badge & family are doing?

Wishing many future blessings to all Victorians affected. x

Having been right in the centre of the Canberra bushfires in 2003, I can imagine the terror those people were feeling. Sadly we still do not know just how bad Victoria is. Luckily all my family around there evacuated in time.

Bushfires are a very real part of Australian life - whether you are in the country or in the city. But even by Australian standards what happened in Victoria is beyond belief. It is very sad.

In the light of a new day its terrible they are saying 100 or over dead and so many people homeless.

Cannot believe the devastation. They are still trying to get the fires under control and away from one of the power stations.

Brian Naylor part of our lives for many years reading the news and his wife have perished.

So many families touched by tragedy. The animals the poor animals the farmers have to get the ones that have survived to market now as there is no hay or water for them.

Just found out our organisation has lost all of its Victorian buildings. They were on the outskirts of Marysville.

We had a big summer camp out there a few weeks ago. None of us are allowed to go in and see the place yet, but it's all gone.

At least there was nobody there when it burnt.

They haven't updated the death toll for a long time. It could be good news, but if it's anything like last night it means that there's going to be a huge jump in the number soon....

Listening to the emergency radio, and the death toll is now 166 and expected to be much higher.
