Love the place.

Been here since Wednesday, Tripoli is full of history, locals are unbelievably helpful and friendly. Very authentic, even down to the lambs and goats hanging from the butcher's windows, not to mention the camels heads!

yeah, of course, will do in time.
Just been out for a 3 course meal, for the grand total of................GBP4.00, nice healthy food as well. Can't go wrong!

I'm sure there will be in the fullness of time. Assessing the situation as we speak, and need to draft a recruitment list over the next month or so, depending on whether we pick up another contract which we are extremely hopeful about.

For a start there´s trade and tourism but real estate developments will surely be there as the money is already lined up by Hydra and ADFD.
Etihad will make Libya a major route and we can expect some joint venture in the oil sector I guess.
UAE is one of the biggest investors in Libya, not that the numbers are spectacular really but they are growing fast, for example First Gulf Bank is already there under the joint venture known as First Gulf Libyan Bank.

Erm, not to my knowledge..not from the UAE angle at least.

The maiden tourism project will be Marsa Tarablus 'Tripoli berth', a mixed-use real estate development with residential, commercial and retail community, a hotel, an administration building and a yacht club in Libya.

Hydra will also build a high-rise tower for wealthy Libyans as far as I know.

Radisson hotel is expected to open later on this year, with rumours abounding they will be serving the liquid we all come to love, but saying that I was the worse for wear on Thursday night anyway. Passable homebrew in abundance here!

Heard this mentioned the other day, although rumour has it the yacht club will potentially be shelved.
