AAAAARRRRGGGHHHHH just tried to book flghts but would not accept my card!! Phoned Air NZ who said to phone card co; they said card all ok,not declined. Went back in to book and flight has gone up £400

Absolutely loony tunes. Flights back down now so have booked!!!!! Thanks for all advice given.

We always smile sweetly at them and they don't seem to surcharge for luggage off connecting international flights (even when not ticketed together). Last time was 2 weeks ago flying into Christchurch on Singapore Air (a Star Alliance partner).
If we stay in CHCH then go on a domestic flight to Dunedin we will be charged NZ$15 if we have 1 extra bag per person so NZ$60 in total. Not as bad as I thought.
