Thing it is not as simple as coming second either, the best 8 runners up in the groups go into play offs. I think there is a fair chance there will be 3 or 4 home nations in them, and would certainly not want to play a playoff against another of the home nations as they turn into messy games.

Yeah I was going to bring the play-off spots up. I hadn't read the rules for this tournament but did presume there would be a play-off factor. Knowing England they will have us biting our nails again down to the wire

Yeah, has been kinda quiet.

Congrats to George Burley for getting the Scotland job.

That's now 3 former Ipswich managers who have gone on to manage their country. Not bad for a small club!

great first half, and then I had to get the missus before half time and got back and it seemed half the team had been subbed and they stopped playing....oh well....could be worse, it could have been to the italians
