I was like you until I got up the duff. Went from stick insect to 34 DDD and unfortunately have stayed that way.

Snowbunny - I was hoping that once I had kids I'd keep the weight, I loved being pregnant as I had a really impressive cleavage! but I guess my genetics are too strong.... went back to being thin - but hurrah for padded bra's :-)

With the second, at about 30 weeks I could find nothing in the maternity shops that would fit -- because it would not go on over my bust.
My mother had to MAKE me these muumuus -- how embarrassing is that.
People would stare at me -- my mother walked a bit behind me in public and had to agree. I got asked if I was having twins or triplets.Daughter born at 36 weeks, weighed 6 lbs 7 oz.

I was huge with my first, only because I had the mother of all water retention. I carried them all over the summer, they're born within a month of one another, and my ankles were the size of an elephant. Worked with a wonderful group of people though. We had a 'sick' room, with a bed, in case anyone fainted at work, or whatever. They'd let me go in there for a nap at lunchtime, and often wouldn't awaken me till 4 or so, just before hometime! Can you see it happening here??? They knew how hard I worked though. I'd be in the office at 7 a.m., often, work right through, and when I awoke from my afternoon nap, would stay until 8 most nights......and before I'd been expecting, worked unbelievably long hours because of budget deadlines.
I was back to my normal weight fairly quickly, but guess what? Started putting on the weight again when he was 8 months or so old, and couldn't understand why, until I discovered when he was 10 months old, that I was bleeding preggers again, and 5 months along at that!!

With him it was a breeze, about a month after he was born, I was back to wearing my regular clothes. The third one took a tad longer - but that was mainly due to me having had the Depo P Shot within a few weeks of him being born, which messed up my hormones and shot my weight up in a horrid way.
