Land and Build

Obviously your choice of name and avatar leads me to think you are somewhat dimwitted but this is simple stuff, surely you can follow; I live in an old Viceroy, a friend who likes this house approached Viceroy to see what it would cost to get something similar but new. Having seen the brochure and the plans as actually built they came back with that price. Rule of thumb says that's half the cost of actually having something to live/vacation in. A nice cottage weekend commutable from Toronto could easily be worth $400,000 so it all works.
You cannot buy and construct a prefabricated shit house for $50,000.

I think you are are quite a rude person and obviously a know it all who does not like to be proven wrong in the least, so goodbye and live up your own arse for the rest of your life !

OK. When you build a cabin for less than $200,000(Canadian) do please tell us all about it.

Viceroy buildings are nice- but only tend to see them as country cottages.
I agree with Rich- even the prices here in Nova Scotia would be $150 sq.ft.
And I wouldn't believe the Toronto link; to begin with it is a Remax agency that have put that info there. Buy a house from Remax but don't sell one. Toronto is full of unqualified tradespeople too.

"country cottages" are not the cottages we see back in the UK; some of them are quite magnificent but people still refer to them as their "cottages"- hence my description.
