Our AOR was 25th July, so August can't be far.

I'm still not convinced that it means they will look at the application any quicker, they just want updated info.

Still, here's hoping!

Not a sausage and I must confess, I am getting a little twitchy now that other people with similar AORs seem to be getting their update requests. It was hard to be patient before... It is even harder now!

Ours is through on an Aug 2005 AOR; don't get twitchy though as they don't always do them on strictly date order, I have seen one in another thread that was a Dec 05 AOR and they are ahead of us; sometimes depends on the complexity of the app, etc I think.

Who knows how the mysterious procesess at CIC work??
I am AOR Aug 04, and am not complete yet.

I didnt get any contact from them until Decemeber, and have now had meds, etc, and am waiting and hoping for PPR.

In my opinion, they seem to be catching up with themselves a bit.

Good luck to everyone.

Congratulations Garfielduk . You seem to be taking this all in your stride - you really are a chilled out Cheshire cat!!

They asked for updated Police Certificates covering the dates since the last ones were done, Revised Schedule 1 forms and New IMM0008 for principal applicant; any other documents because of change in circumstances e.g. marriage, divorce; updated evidence of funds. I will also send reference from my new current employer although not specifically asked for. A little more pain in the paper chase but what the hell

its seems to me the 90 day letter update dosnt really mean you are any closer than before if they are onto aug 2005..maybe they are just sending them out willy nilly...i mean im jan 2005 aor got 90 day letter at the beggining dec and sent back our info jus after chrimbo..and have heard nothing since....looks like it more like a lottery once u get the letter as to when u get your medical requests etc..some aor before mine are still waiting..some past mine have had medicals already?

Yes you are right upto a point but if you look at the Stats for each of the Commissions offices everyone will get a picture of things and is why 30% of Apps take no more than 27 months, 50% no more than 29 months, 70% in 37 mths and 80% in 54 mths (Year 2006 data). God knows what happens to the 20% that are left. The fact is that even if you have received a 90 day letter, once they look at the evidence and assess the Application there can be many scenarios:
a) All is hunky dory, all evidence supplied and verified and therefore no more request sfor additional info, med requests shortly follow
b) There are some minor pieces of evidence that you were told to supply and you haven't, therefore they will request it from you.
c) There are some serious doubts about authenticity of documents or the source of them so deeper investigations have to follow

That is why some Apps take longer than others !
