hi looking for help from any paramedics or technicians who have left uk for oz.basically cant seem to get quals recognised to pass vetassess agent seems to think its impossible anyone done it ,if so can you tell me how.

You should look up the MODL list (Migration Occupants in Demand). Did you send in your TRA forms yet! I know for most jobs you need between 4-7 years on the job done it all depends on job profession but the medical ones are high up on list. You should go on the TRA site aswel have a look. Chin up.

They are not on the lists so you can't get in that way. Queensland Ambulance have just started recruiting in the UK though, so they would be the best people to contact.

A friend is a paramedic and was really teed off not to be able to get in with her qualifications, they got their visa through hubs green keeping skills. As soon as they got the visa, QLD Ambos changed their rules and she has applied for and got a job with them.

I don't know if there is anything on their website but I will PM you friend's e-mail address and she won't mind passing on their details.
