I don't think even his own side want him ... he's probably even an embarrassment for them. A brussel sprout has a higher IQ.

I just feel very sorry for the oxygen molecules that have to oxygenate his brain. On the bright side, as he has very few brain cells his brain doesn't need much oxygen. Maybe a thimble full every few days.

I can't understand how the defence lawyers in cases like this (or Jamie Bulgers killers, the Moors murderers, the twat in the Soham case whose name escapes me etc) can do it...I realise everyone should be entitled to access to defence representation, legal advice etc, I'm just glad I'm not called upon to do it....it must take an incredibly high degree of detachment and professionalism to be able to argue in favour of some of these monsters................

Or you could even believe in the criminal justice system and the right to a fair trial. Unlikely, I know, for an attorney. But I suppose anything is possible.

Thats what I mean though - the individuals belief in the system has to outweigh that individuals personal feelings towards the scum they are defending, otherwise they wouldn't be able to do their job properly. Or would they? I don't know...I just know I wouldn't be able to sufficiently distance myself from my personal feelings (prejudices?)...

Actually that could be the case, but then your belief in the system and its worth would surely have to outweigh your belief in natural justice, otherwise how could you defend the indefensible.
It is an interesting question and the only way to find the answer is to ask attorneys, and who is going to believe the answers they give ???

Is this the triumph of hope over knowledge?

They will surely get theirs, and probably not in this life, then definately in the next
I have met some OAP's who had all their pensions tied up with this crew, and now they have nothing

BTW, are the "E" boys living in low-cost apartments, I think not, everything is nicely tied up in family names

Some people are just born without a conscience (sp), or the ability to spell

Shame on them
