Default Anyone flown London - Van - Toronto - London

Afternoon all

Hope you all had a good Easter?

Quick question - has anyone flown London to Vancouver then Vancouver to Toronto and then Toronto to London (with time spent in Van and Toronto)? Have been quoted crazy prices .... just wondered if we have to swallow the cost of about £800 or if anyone has any better ideas?

What time of year of year? Makes a big difference. I just checked on Destina.ca (Air Canada) LHR - Vancouver - Toronto - London Dep on 28/04 return 21/05 and it is 577 pounds. You probably could do a bit better, London-Toronto (whatever carrier) Toronto Vancouver return on Westjet which $581 Can.

I did Heathrow-Vancouver, (week or so in Vancouver) Vancouver-Calgary (another week in Calgary), and Calgary-back to-London a couple of years ago. Shopped around *everywhere* and couldn't get better than the Air Canada fare they quoted me themselves, so just booked it with them. It cost me £680-ish...so I guess anything between there and your £800 would be about right (as it was over 2yrs ago).

I fly from London to Vancouver for about £550, return. Once in a while I've gone via Toronto and it cost the same but it was just a stopover - I didn't spend any time there (thank god ).

Hi Biink - yes my quote for for Air Canada and you are probably right. It's frustrating as I thought that someone might do a better deal than that. Thanks! Jen
