MSP looked best for maximising the international segment, not by much admittedly. But the transfer times there were a bit too short for my liking. So, given the other considerations in this thread, I went for JFK both ways. Each connection has a later flight in case the scheduled one is missed. 763s all the way, all with AVOD.
Only question is whether to bother with economy comfort for $89 for the JFK-LHR leg. The potential recline is about the only benefit for me.

Last time I flew AA TATL in coach (and this was some time ago - I don't do those sorts of things any more!) my veggie meal was a Jyoti Indian curry. I subsequently read somewhere that they had gained contracts with a couple of airlines to supply their veggie meals. I had no doubt at the time that I was eating the best meal on the plane!
