If left to my own devices and not working, or doing night shifts, about 5-6am. If I'm on day shifts about midnight, can't sleep any earlier, I only get about 4 hours sleep going to bed that early. Going to bed about 5am I can happily sleep for 8 hours.
Back in the UK like now though I can happily go to bed about 1-2am and be up at 8-9am, for more "normal" hours.
Just weird i guess!

When you are not working, and go to bed at 5-6am what time do you get up? (You sound like you may be a person who may not need much sleep - I wish I was the same). It seems that you have shunted the night along- by choice of course!
Are you a massive club person - after all - most people are asleep if they are not out! I have some friends who like to club (not nightclubs though) or spend time together at night.

Between 12 and 1 for me, always reading for a bit before sleep and up around 8. The husband however is in bed before 9 (generally struggling like hell from 7.30 onwards) and up a little after 4. We don't see a huge amount of each other awake.
If I was working, bedtime would be 11ish but still reading for a while.

Anytime between 12 and 1.30 usually. Can't do before midnight, ever.

At 9pm during my eldest daughter's rowing season as we have to be up at 3.45. On weeknights out of season I go to bed between 10.30-11 and around midnight 1am on weekends.

I always video movies and anything I want to watch that is on later than 8.30, as I usually fall asleep on the sofa and only wake up as the credits roll or when the adverts are on. That way, I can watch the bits I miss during the daytime - although I still fall asleep on the sofa in the afternoons too!!

I have suggested we get a PVR so that we can watch network movies and skip the adverts...

I haven't watched TV or recorded stuff for ages now. Life is too stressful at the mo. Planning to go and watch Star Trek though, at the movies. That will be novel.

So does the UK holiday motivate you to different hours!? (Or is it jetlag!)

It seems that you have shunted the night along- by choice of course!

Going to bed around 5-6am I'll be up anytime from midday, depending on what I'm doing that day. If I'm doing nothing then I might sleep till 3 or 4pm, makes up for the times I'm on dayshifts and lose out seriously on sleep!

We were discussing this last night at ballet, how come the girls get the winter and boys get summer! Freezing and they have to be up at 4am.
