Hi guys,

I got 5 years multiple B2 visa during last year i.e. on 08/08/2011, however I could not travel due to delay of visa issuance of my friend who had the same issued in February 2012 (we had group application). Due to the reason, we both could not travel on the specified month i.e September 2011. Now, I've got some ambiguity on the following:-

- Can we still travel although we couldn't manage to fly on the dates given on our application due to delay in visa process.

- My passport (on which I got visa stampted in August 2011) has expired, however, I got the new one before expiry of the same. Also, when I lodged my application I was Assistant Vice President in our Bank, however, later on, I got promotion as Vice President I.

Should I inform the US embassy at Islamabad regarding the fresh passport issuance and change in official grade?

Given that you have a multiple entry B2 visa that is still valid there should not be any issues.

The fact that you didn't make your originally planned trip should not matter and nor should your change in job title.

Just make sure that you take both your old passport (with the visa in it) and your new passport with you when you travel.
