Hi,

My 175 visa application was granted few months back and I have not traveled yet to Australia. However, due to some reasons I have to change my present passport. Now my question is, how I can update about this change? Do I need to communicate with my CO, who handled my application earlier? How I can do re stamping of visa to my new passport?

Will really appreciate your suggestions.

I sent form 929 along with colored scan of passport to my agent to be forward to my case officer. Case officer responded back that they have adjusted their records.

After that, you can either apply for visa sticker in your new passport, or carry both your old passport along with new passport (without sticker) and apply for visa sticker once in Australia.

My friend has a question also regarding this , he also got his visa few months back , now his passport was getting expired due to which he got a new passport. Now this form 929 should be send to his CO or at this email Id : GSM.documents@immi.gov.au ? .
