Hi guys,

I have only passed my test in the last month, so I dont have the 2 years driving experience required for a full Ontario license. Is anyone able to give me advice to what my options on driving are?

So from what I understand, they MAY issue me a G2 license? Which would allow me to drive on all Ontario roads?

Not sure what it would mean when you transferred it back to the UK? Would you go back down to a Provisional?

You might have some issues trying to rent a Car on a G2, but I think the only restriction of a G2 is 0 blood alcohol and everyone must wear a seatbelt.

Oooo good point Scotty. Hmm, im confused as the wording wasn't exactly solid on the website. Just says you may be granted a G2 license with less than 2 years experience.

"If you have less than two years of driving experience, you may get credit for your experience for graduated licensing and be issued a Class G2 or M2 licence. Once you have a total of two years of driving experience, you may take the G2 or M2 road test to earn full driving privileges."

Kinda confusion, I had no problems switching over my UK - Ontario Licence, I had over 5 years experience though, so that might be why it was so easy.
