It makes more sense when you know it's in response Fergie saying "Not in my life time" when asked if Man Utd will ever be underdogs to City.

Maybe it's time for somebody to put a stake through his heart then.

Isn't there some film about werewolves vs. vampires? Tevez vs. Fergie would be the real life equivalent.

Seasons over. So Liverpool's actual good players are now saying they would like to leave. I see Reina (poor season mind you) and Skrtel say they wish to "consider their options" now.

It depends on your definition of underdogs. Let's see what the summer transfers bring before we write the old boy off just yet. He saw off Blackburn, Arsenal and Chelsea. I'm sure he will do the same with this lot.

I was a ittle surprised - I thought Kenny would get another year. I think that what did for him wasnt so much the season, it was the season coupled with the transfers. Would you trust the man that spent £35 million on Carroll to send another 50?

I wouldnt.

Agreed 100%. The title is merely on loan, just as it was when Blackburn won it.

I think the Suarez affair had a lot to do with it.

Standard Chartered were less than happy with how it was handled.
And for all the bluster, being dropped by adidas and going cap in hand to some Michigan no marks to make your shirts has to sting.

I still think Liverpool fans think they run the team, that no matter what, if they beat their drum loud enough they get what they want. Well they got what they wanted for 18 months........ it got them £50 million in the red, 9th place and a few days out in London.

Now the board have taken their club back.

On the shirt issue, they were not dropped by Adidas, the deal was the biggest in British football at the time (might still be) New Balance are hardly a small company.

They might not be a small company, but they're hardly a big name in the UK the way Addias or Nike (hell even Puma and Kappa) are. Smacks of wanting to appeal to American fans to me.

I do agree the Suarez incident didn't help, but if his actions did damage the club then you have to wonder if he'll be heading for the exit over the summer too.

The new kit deal for the scousers is the biggest deal for the time being but even that is causing some disharmony amongst the fans in regard to the logo re the JTF 96 groups. Utd fans are not happy with the new tablecloth look of their shirt.
So do you walk away from the Warrior and Nike deals to appease the fans or take the money and dont care what the fans think as long as you think you can sell shirts in the US, Malaysia or Korea etc etc.
