This was a documentary made by Tony Palmer in 1977 it was originally broadcast by Granada TV has part of a series of documentaries about different aspects of British Life and the series was called 'This England' and this documentary was simply called 'Wigan Casino' but the documentary showed a lot of how Wigan looked in 1977 including footage of the old Market Hall.
