Default Re: Entering Canada and Visa Expiry Question

Hi, just to let you know I have written to the CHC this morning and am currently awaiting their response.

In the meantime, please could someone clarify if our new UK passports are issued shortly, can just myself and my husband travel to Canada and activate our PR? OR do we have to take our 4 children (who are all under 16) with us before the 2nd June expiry date?

Both my eldest son and daughter currently have end of year exams which will make this very difficult, if not impossible. Thanks again.

If the childrens Immigrant visas in their passports expire on 2 June then they have to travel to Canada to activate their PRs before that expiry date.
Only the principal applicant can land before the rest of the family travel.
If any visas have expired then that person will not be landed on arrival in Canada.
