Same with Federal and ADF. I work with people who've come from and to other States and ADF and they've all managed to bring entitlements with them so definitely pester HR wherever you move to. If you go as temp or contract though you may lose out, same as if you go into the private sector.

I'm not a permanent employee and probably never will be as you're required to do regional service out 'whoop whoop' and as a Defence family that'll never be possible!

I thought Toowoomba was considered 'rural' these days by QLD Ed. I know Ipswich is.

Toowoomba is one of the most highly sought after places to teach, weirdly, and no it's not considered 'whoop whoop'. I'm talking Mt Isa, St George, all those bumhole of nowhere type places lol

My 21 staff (mostly Aussie) employees had no sick leave, as soon as they accrued a day or so... they strangely were struck down with yet another case of gastro..... does that sound racist?
