That can often be the case. Oasis used to do acoustic sets in their hey-day in the mid 90s that blew the album versions away.

Nirvana Unplugged is another one that springs to mind.

OK, how about some really good stuff -- the Wolf with Hubert Sumlin and Willie Dixon. Saw this tour at St. George's Hall in Bradford.

Agreed

We've mentioned that before. Nirvana Unplugged, is one of my all time favourite cd's, and I play it a lot even now.
My favourite song from it? Difficult, but this is probably tops.
