Thought I'd check the status update site and was shocked and speechless to see our status changed to

Decision made.

The following status was noted:

We received your application for permanent residence on November 15, 2010.

We started processing your application on February 23, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Fingers crossed. I was hoping you might be able to answer a quick question.

Did you really send the request in 2010 and its been looked at this year? Where have you been living in the meantime, as I see youre from fair Scotland.

Yes, I really did send the request in 2010. Our timeline in the signature is true to each date.

We are living in Alberta and have beens since 2009.
I am from Scotland, the fair city of Edinburgh.
