Brilliant, thank you dear!

The only disadvantage with this way is that you have to stay with the song. If you move to a different thread or even to a different page of this thread, you lose the link.

I just heard this the other day for the first time when I watched the movie "My Neighbor Totoro" (which, by the way, I strongly strongly recommend for kids--very cute and beautifully drawn). The song is hauntingly present throughout the movie, but this 'duet' version by the composer is also pretty amazing.

I then started to research the composer, Joe Hisaishi, who has done the soundtracks for most of the Studio Ghibli films and was just floored by his work. Some amazing tracks, truly inspiring. He had a 25-year-concert at the Budokan. Here is a low-res video of that concert. The "Totoro" theme (which every Japanese kid sings as a child) is about 1 hour 35 minutes into this concert. The full concert version of the duet above ('A Path through the Wind') is about 1:28 or so.

This is also on my playlist. Girls Generation singing 'Genie'. It's a Korean-band singing in Japanese in this track.

I think the demographics of Youtube viewers is 15-20 year old females, and 40-50 year old males. Really appeals to different people for different reasons.
