Hi, I've been in the region for a long time, living mainly in Bahrain but always worked in Saudi. I've been offered a job in Qatar and was looking for some advice on what the work environment is really like and also cost of living, social life etc.?

Salary package in the region of QR 90k a month

Any advice greatly appreciated.

I suspect its pretty much the same, a lot of things similar to Bahrain and a lot of things similar to Riyadh - both places where you have lived a very long time.

This is a very good salary. Must be ED or something like that.
Qatar is cheaper than both KSA and Bahrain. You can think about it as a bit larger image of Bahrain, but more developed. Life in Qatar is much easier than KSA

I am currently negotiating a package to relocate to Qatar...anyone have any idea on schools (British curriculum) for ages 4-7? Also housing with more green space/less traffic noise etc.?
