Payment options to USCIS from overseas
Hello everyone,
I have prepared my I-140 NIW application and wish to submit it to USCIS. The application will be submitted to a lockbox. I am not in the US and do not have a US bank account, so my payment options are very limited. I also know no one who can pay on my behalf in the US.
Do you know if an international bank draft in US dollars issued by a non-US financial institution is accepted by USCIS? Does anyone have experience with this?
what are possible payment options except asking friends or relative to pay in the US ?

International bank drafts don't work, they have to be "drawn on U.S. financial institutions and payable in U.S. funds". Can your lawyer pay it?

I thought you could pay by credit card now for most petitions?
You can find the filing fee for Form I-140 by visiting our Fee Schedule page.
The fee is effective for filings postmarked April 1, 2024, and later.
You can pay the fee with a money order, personal check, cashier’s check, or pay by credit card or debit card using Form G-1450, Authorization for Credit Card Transactions. If you pay by check, you must make your check payable to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Do you have relatives or super good friends living in the US with good credit and is trust worthy? Send them the money and have them either use their credit card or send you a US postal money order.
