Default IMU, and other taxes for residents

Ok, further to my other post, I have some questions about what changes once I am resident etc.

IMU...I have yet to receive an IMU bill. Am I supposed to have paid something by now (we moved in in December). This is my prima casa but I am not yet resident (working on it - see other post), so is IMU charged as it being prima casa even though non-resident, or as second home because of being non-resident?
I read something about prima casa IMU being cancelled until December? Very confused...

Income tax. I have no income apart from, technically, rental income on a house in the UK. Is there a simpler form I can fill in for income taxes after I am resident or am I going to have to employ a bilingual accountant just to fill in the income tax forms? (My Italian is definitely not up to doing that)

What other taxes should I be aware of after I am resident? TV tax for example. Anything else?

Thanks!

If you are not residendt, t cannot be ''prima casa''. IVIE is a declaration for residents in Italy re Properties abroad, IVAfE is for Savins and courrent accounts held abroad. As non resident, they are not chargable, but remember the 182 days rules, that is what make you resident in any EU countries.

[COLOR="Blue"]This year IMU was abolished on casa prima, only payments were for casa seconda.
Next year it will be called TASER and it will incorporate rubbish tax as well( so they say)

There are people on this forum who have a better knowledge of the tax system, but I have never seen anyone who does their own tax forms here.

Rubbish tax should be incorporated in the new service tax. Depending on your commune, if your property is facing a public road, they also have a tax for 'occupying public space' ie, your gate is facing the main road so we are going to tax you on this.
If you have a photovoltaic system, there is also a tax on this-I just paid it.

Yep, they will tax you on the air you breathe if they can.
The photovoltaic tax was around 50 euro( I do not know if it changes depending on the system, ours is 6+ KW).

WHen did you sign your act of purchase? If it was before the 15th of the month you will owe 1 months IMU for last year.
You will hvae TARES this year, and service tax next for rubbish. THen, it depends where you are - even if you have only income in the UK you might have to pay regional income tax, even if you dont fall into the national tax brackets.. Basically if you are becoming resident you need to declare in ITaly - but the tax office might be rather interested that as a family only you are resident.

Have 1 house on Sardinia, classed as 2nd home, as we live in UK,IMU tax tripled in 2012, also this year rubbish collection will jump, now being taxed on size of home and people living there (we don't) instead of amount of rubbish being taken away - despite having to re-cycle everything on different days of the week whilst we spend our 2 holidays there each year, please someone make it stop

Its not just Italy. In my part of Yorkshire they now charge you an extra 30 quid to take 'humid' waste away even though you've already paid for it once in your council tax... and they take it once a month.... which in a hot summer wont be good.
