RSMS (119) Visa Timelines
I received an email from Adelaide Business Centre (DIMA) who advised me of their current processing times for RSMS (119) visa.
1 week to certify nomination
4-6 weeks backlog with 1 day processing for nomination approval
3-6 months visa application processing.
This is a little different from the SA Immigration guidelines (that hubbys new employee was using when they offered him the job) of:
1 week to certify
1 week for nomination approval
2-4 months visa processing.
Vera.

Re: RSMS (119) Visa Timelines
Mmmmmmm.
Seems strange as the RSMS visa usually takes a high priority in the visa pecking order.
On that basis it would be logical to assume skilled visas et al are even more delayed.
However things aren't always logical so it may be different staff handling this type of visa and maybe they can't cope at the moment.
I suggest you put this on the immigration forum and see if any of the experts on there comment.
