i just don't see how anyone would want to go and watch it...hideous sport to amuse hideous people...

I can see the attraction of it, and understand how it would give you a rush... running the bulls in Pampalona is something i've always wanted to try.
I imagine it's not a terribly morally sound position to take...

it's fashionable to stand up and be counted against bull fighting...
but when anyone questions the morals of extensive cattle farming (particularly the way it's practised in North and South America) and points out the inefficiencies w.r.t. the energy chain from solar energy -> cattle feed -> cattle -> food on the plate, it's not so fashionable.

I would miss juicy steaks though. Perhaps if there were herds of wild cows I could butcher the odd one and feed my passions.

I do have milk in my tea in office, but have cut down substantially on dairy, also substitute Tofu for paneer

If you saw the video on PETA and watched how chickens are slaughtered/animals treated - believe me, you would give up meat
