Default Toll Fees From Calais to S.Spain

Any idea how much the toll's are for the drive from Calais to southern Spain ?

Using the Sat-Nav its 5 hours longer drive using non toll roads.....roughly 28 hrs against 23hrs.

According to the AA site time of year also makes a difference.

Info would be appreciated

If you do a route on the AA or Michilin sites they will include tolls etc in it.

Thing it all depends on the route you take.
You can literally stay on toll roads for the whole route. But do not forget that if you come off for an overnight halt then you may end up paying for exit and entry. That is not included on any route planner.
The cost of fuel is another issue you can pay up to 20 cents more per litre on a toll road than off.

Plan your route using the viamichelin.com web site
This will give you the (almost) exact tolls for each route.
I have used this twice last year and its quite accurate - just a few euros out.
If you enter your car and driving style it will also work out your fuel comsumption so you can quite accurately work out the total cost for each possible route

Hi Ronlin,

I've done Calais to the Algarve for about €35.

Calais,
Paris,
Orleans (N Road)
Angouleme (NR)
Bordeaux (NR)
Irun (part Toll)
Vitoria
Burgos (NR)
Madrid (N1)

then, depending where you're going

Alicante, Murcia, Almeria, Malaga (N III)

Sevilla, Huelva, Cadiz (N IV)

Hope this helps.

I used to drive to the south of France years ago on both, b roads are a bit slower but cheaper and nicer views.

Hi again Ron,

The route I suggested is motorway standard all the way with the exception of Paris - Bordeaux (3/4hrs).

i recently done it via toll roads and it was like mentioned here about EUR 50,

i wouldnt touch the B roads in France, done that, very rough and many problems and potential tailbacks.

i love the French motorways so peaceful and compared to the Uk , well maintained.

hope that helps
