Carrying non prescription medicines to Australia
Hi,
I have been issued PR and very soon we will be travelling to Sydney to
validate ouy visa. Can I carry off the shelf medicines like
Paracetamol, Anacin etc along with my hand baggage. Will the customs
create any problem?
I am planning to stay there only for a week now and incase any of my
family members fall sick during that time what are the options
available for me?
Thanks in advance
Ryan

IIRC, somewhere it states that medication must be in its original packaging
(doesn't have to be unopened). But my wife took meds along, repacked into
those little dispenser thingies and they never cared.
