Would you support Gareth Morgan's new Political party
I would. Having said I no longer vote in another thread, I have just heard this

I really like this chap as he really seems to have unselfish and philanthropic views. I like the cut of his jib.

He won't be popular with those voters who have cats
I can't vote for anyone with a dodgy moustache, male or female.

Well, I have had an epithany! I have just, for the first time in almost 58 years asked to join a political party! I really like this man. I want to be part of this political party.
My, how the landscape of one's views can change with a news article that piques your interest!

Absolutely no way. I can't recall anyone who came across as more of a know-it-all as Morgan.
Anyone remember his attitude to the buying of the beach in Abel Tasman for public use? Said he'd give some money as long as he could have part of it for his own private use. Smug pr1ck.

Does not seem unreasonable in my eyes, given the diagram above. However I cannot counter that you think he is smug and a know it all)))).

Good job my Mrs isnt standing then !!
Says the problem with "career politicians" but one man does not a party make he will need others to support him,
if he is successful, he will attract, and gladly accept the support of said career politicians.
I'm not seeing him as much more than a polite Donald Trump at this point

Maybe biggest impact will be to take votes from Winston Peters party? Seems to be appealing to similar sort of voter?

Yeah that's just what this country needs eh, a self-appointed, rich, old, weasly faced narcissist to swoop-in and save the day.
Unfortunately I expect he'll be popular and get lots of votes.

Much as I respect him as a great investor (although GMI is very much a fading star now and was even before he sold it) I think we have plenty of political parties already.
