We do pizza night as well, the kids do love it.

My wee one wants me to try to make garlic balls (garlic butter in the middle of ball shaped dough ) so that looks like it will be next thing to try. Plan is to make dough in bread maker then get some well chilled garlic butter and place in middle of dough then roll in to a ball shape. Sounds easy now that I've put it in writing!!!

I make dough balls Pizza Express style - they don't have the garlic butter in the middle, just serve with a little dipping bowl of warm garlic butter. I can imagine things could get quite messy trying to stuff them with butter beforehand.

Default Curry

so I cooked curry tonight..

feel like living on ready made meals lately for some reason..s

Not that I am busy.. maybe opposite... just being incredibly lazy, mega stressed and living on your own why bother cooking?

The packaged curry sauce was $3.99 at New World yesterday - it was special price and no clue how much would it be if it was normal... I don't eat packaged ready made food (especially curry) but couldn't help just bought coz I dislike cooking these days and not very happy with wasting loads of my precious time on cooking - which I think its stupid and thinking/making lists of ingredients etc etc and food shopping - they all wasting my time and I hate it.

usually don't like the taste of bottled/packeged curry paste/sauce (including Pataks) we can get here but I must confess this is the best fresh curry sauce I ever had in nz. better than an indian restaurant - I don't like Great India.

even took photos while cooking. haha. what a great job I've done. I didn't mean to show you guys (so messy looking/not very well organized, overall) but the taste so awesome. Thats why I bother posting the stuff here.

Its well made curry sauce but I added following xtra ingredients.

2 chopped fresh tomatoes
1 orange pepper
1 onion
fresh cream

I added some Coriander at the end, and the taste was rather nicer.

I feel your pain. sometimes I just wish I could not make lists, shop and cook ever again and it's all so pointless

Nice looking dinner though and nice to see you choose happy meat

there's Pataks Madras sauce (I think?) - not paste ? ? don't think that's the one you are after??

actually finished my shopping at NW today and was just about to leave, then thought, Ooops !!!, have to take curry photos for stormer999 ?! so I had to go back to curry section (?), take loads of picces! then managed to annoy other people around...

Hope you find something that you like .......................among those (not many enough in fact ........... )

There's Tulsi Madras too? am gonna have it next time. will let you know.. am sure its not hot enough for you.............................. But I prefer mild curry.
