Pension advice - ex Pension Transfer thread
Thanks - this is interesting information.
If I move to NZ from the UK my situation would involve payment of a UK Government funded tax-free lump sum as well as monthly payments from a final salary scheme.
What I need to ascertain is:
(a) would the tax-free lump sum be taxable if imported to NZ? and
(b) would monthly pension payments be subject to double taxation (i.e. at source and again in NZ)?
Thanks for any tips on where can I find an Authorised Financial Adviser to advise on this?
