Using 'folks' is fine. Dear is not, as has been explained.

I gather from your posts that your interests are environmental matters. Is that correct?

Y'know my husband has severe dyslexia. Lives with it every single day of his life.

Now then. I wish to be clear about your intention here , rather than assume.

Have you started this thread and topic for a research purpose please?

Thanks.

Do many dyslexics take weekends off?

In regards to the OPs question about our biggest assets I'm going to have to go with a breathable atmosphere. People forever go on about how lucky we are to have clean water and water being the basis of all life, you know people who say things like "You can live X weeks without food but you can only survive some small fraction of that time without water." That might be true but without a habitable atmosphere your likely to be able to measure your lifespan in increments so small you need a unit of time smaller than a week.

Either that or Pineapple lumps if advertising is to be believed.

the posts in Portugal seem very coherent, so I seriously hope that this is not just a rouse for your previous poor posts in NZ.
