The thing is it's not actually that hot round here (high 20s) ... just horribly HUMID. Humid is my worst kind of weather and I confess I've moaned and complained a lot recently.

Haha, seriously though, I lived in Hawkes Bay and NSW and was quite happy in the 30s but here I struggle in the 20s because of the wretched humidity. I've also done WA in January and was quite happy, again humidity is low.
It's the humidity that zaps your energy and leaves you sticky. A good dry heat is a wonderful thing.
