OMG Christmas already
I couldn't believe my eyes our local Mall at Papamoa is being decorated for Christmas already. I thought it was bad in the UK when the Christmas items started creeping in late July early August but June. No wonder Christmas is an anti-climax by the time 25th December arrives the kids are bored.

Pleased about that. I must admit we spent Christmas in Auckland about 4 years ago. We went shopping on Christmas Eve and you couldn't tell it was so close to Christmas - thought when seeing this 'no wonder, people are just fed up'.
But Christmas Carols as well. It's a bit like the 'English Pub' senario, what they think one is like.
