Mmmm what size of win is the question. If a small win, a nice house and new car would do nicely here in JAFAland. It would be nice to thinhk the wage earned was my money for a change!!

If we're talking megabucks then a base near my daughter in the UK, a lodge in the canadian rockies, a bach just north of JAFAland and a stonking great yacht called Lucky B*stard!!!

I will buy a NEW nice cozy Central Heating apartment in Edinburgh or Oxford or somewhere in UK then I no longer need to share my space with a cute mouse everyday, perhaps

I've only ever been a visitor there. Have known plenty of people who've gone through nursing school at the John Radcliffe, though. And one friend who's gone through two open-heart surgeries at the same hospital. So quite used to travelling there! (used to live in Northampton, so just down the road)

It is! Full of people far far younger than me, too.

I wouldn't be anywhere else in the world but here. I made the decision to come here: so my initial choice ended in disaster: and that's fate; kismet; however you care to call it; but I can't imagine being any happier any where else in the world.
'tis a choice we all make and then you live the hand fate deals you

folks, "Dreaming" makes no sense!
a dream (or a fantasy) is always possible - it's real life that is harder.
Optimism beats pessimism every day !

We used to have loads of mice in an old gate lodge we lived in and we got a sonar 'thing' that you plug in and change the frequency every week or so and after about 2 weeks they were gone and didn't come back again. If they're not available here could you get someone to send you one from the UK? They're really, really good.

Well If I won big I would probably still live in NZ for the most part, even though I am still homesick some days. I come from Devon in South West England and lived there all my life - it is not all its made out to be. Still the same old stuff as the rest of the UK. Crime, unemployment, street fights, kids hanging on street corners, bullying etc. Worse in the summer with all the tourists ..... back to my dreams now, a House overlooking the Ocean, not sure where exactly - still exploring this lovely country, house in America so I could visit my Son and family, and maybe a place in Tuscany. Now all I have to do it buy a ticket!!!!!
