Default Diesel mechanic looking for career change

Hi all. We have been in auckland for almost three years. During this time, my husband has been a diesel mechanic for two bus companies. For a number of reasons, for example negative working environment, poor workshop conditions and lack of progression opportunities, he is considering a career change.

Can anyone recommend a suitable path for a qualified diesel mechanic? Very open to moving away from a workshop environment but would like to use some of the skills and knowledge he has gained obviously.

Thanks!

Truck Stops are always looking for techs. We have 2 sights in Auckland. Visit truckstops.co.nz for contact details. Also, Alliance Truck and Bus owned by our parent company are at Wiri.
