Crowd funding ideas/Dragons den.
As you know crowd and peer-to-peer funding is all the rage at the moment. We just seem to be in a market where any old idea is seen as a viable product.
So I want your ideas and your critique of others ideas.
Here is my first pitch:

Here is my first pitch:
As you know the cat market is booming thanks to the internet and single women who've given up on marraige. However one thing I've observed from trying to bath my cat or letting it outside is that they don't enjoy water of cold.
So I present to you Purr-Mitts: Mittens for your kittens (TM).
Here is an non-artists impression of what an artists rendering might look like:
However, thanks to plain packaging laws on cigarettes, here is a more fully developed product line:
Obviously I anticipate that we would require about $1.25bn to get into business but remember cats need twice as many shoes as a human. So any questions? How much are you ready to invest? What can you bring to the business?

Quite an interesting idea. Tell me, how do you propose to overcome typical feline psychological issues, such as 'Allergy to Owner Syndrome' and embarrassment led anxieties; most cat experts agree that cats can suffer from humiliation and I wouldn't like to see my pussy singled out by the neighbourhood bullies for being a bit 'out there'.

Fine then, that was just a warm up idea.
Idea #2:
Artisanmite: Craft breweries are all the rage at the moment and we'd just buy their brewing sludge then turn in into Mar...I mean Artisanmite. We'll put it in a jar with a label that looks a bit like a hatch print poster, perhaps an "in" joke on the front like a bare chested men with pickaxes and a miners lamp, and we'll only retail it in those places that serve gourmet toast to hipsters and alternative types. I think it will sell well on the west coast of America as well actually because it fills the niches of being new and untried in the US, European and humble in origin.

Will it taste better than Marmite?
A much more practical and profitable idea than cat socks: anyone who has ever tried to keep a bandage on a cat will understand
I am cautiously interested

I think it'll still be a "like it or leave it" product. We could do a few other variations, like a very strong Maoist themed Naxalmite and a kids version called Termite loaded with high fructose corn syrup. Maybe an aged version called Dinomite? You can see the marketing and product development potential.

Does the office totty come with a well lit window and a watching crowd?
Some other variations you might like to consider:
a budget version called 'Shite'
a Halal version called 'Shiite'
a powdered 'just mix with water' version called 'Angel Demite'

Re: Crowd funding ideas/Dragons den.
Business case? Anthony Weiner, Brooks Newmark, Berlusconi (again and again, bunga bunga)...
Client base? Nigel Farage & UKIP, most of the Tory back bench and some of the front (Same could probably apply to most countries really), FA players, many financial institutions, the police and teachers, anyone with an intern, male managers with female employees etc.
We could get into hardware with a "shock" case for a iPhone and Android so when someone contact a number they shouldn't be dialing it gives them a little zap.
