Re: Which UK banks do you recommend?

Most likely small banks like Co-operative or Post-Office are more likely to be reliable than bigger banks like Lloyds, RBS, Clydesdale et al. Also look into credit-unions but ensure they are all...

Re: So What Do We Do If Visa Gets Denied

Questions you are asking are very reasonable so don't feel dumb as I did the same in your situation :) In response to your questions:

1. Request KOL(REQ) in your cover-letter (i.e sponsor).

Re: Theresa May wants minimum income of £25,700; £49,000 if you have 2 kids

That is true under the current rules...the Govt is however considering removing the KOL option where it does not matter how long is a couple married for...they will most likely be issued a spouse...

Re: Theresa May wants minimum income of £25,700; £49,000 if you have 2 kids

If both you and your husband have sufficient savings, I believe under the current rules he should be able to come considering you both appeared to be married for a long time. But, yes...the new rules...

Re: Theresa May wants minimum income of £25,700; £49,000 if you have 2 kids

Re: Theresa May wants minimum income of £25,700; £49,000 if you have 2 kids

I doubt anyone with so much money may necessarily feel comfortable investing it somewhere however your former point is excellent, I like that. From my calculations, at 4% I.R one can earn £40,000/...

Re: Theresa May wants minimum income of £25,700; £49,000 if you have 2 kids
