Yes...I do strongly suggest to go for 1 day appointment and get it done rapidly. Agreed its a few hundred pounds more but the amount of mind satisfaction one gets is priceless and worth every penny...

In principal there is not a lot you are required to provide IF your husband has KOL REQ. This simply means he is required to pass the Life in the UK Test and fill the appropriate form for Indefinate...

Thanks Bipat for your response! I am not surprised with you response to not being aware of this Deemed Surrender Certificate as this was possibly introduced from 2011 onwards, hence fairly new rule....

That is true under the current rules...the Govt is however considering removing the KOL option where it does not matter how long is a couple married for...they will most likely be issued a spouse...

Good points Bristol. There are quite a few rules that, if implemented, can be considered illogical especially, as you quoted, excluding people who have been married for a long time. I also think not...
