Bar seems more common to leave notes, most people seem to know that credit card tips are treated as income, many leave cash as a tip even if they pay for the meal with a CC.

I tend to associate Coach trips with old fogies who are usually really bad for tips.

Logically I agree with you but the reality is that most customers are mathematically challenged and a lower menu price is what they expect.

Most wait staff do quite nicely, the back of house is another issue.

Amused me that the 'Chinese'e restaurants, especially the chains have Mexican staff in the back, 'Anglo' in the front.

Inspections vary, where I am the State do it, but it might be County or...
