I can't quite understand why the British are so critical of their own country. I mean yes, it does have it faults, but this whole 'grotty old England' mentality is really quite narrowminded I think....

That's definitely true! I think it may be because you know you'll be moved on soon anyway, so you don't make the effort to repair relationships, or improve the situation if something has gone wrong....

I do feel dizzy, and honestly, a bit misplaced. I just don't know if I want to be in the UK or Sweden. I don't want to commit to any one place for too long.

That's why I emphasised *really* low, i.e. clinically depressed. They won't give depressants to someone who is just a bit sad, obviously. And yes, I know what I'm talking about too :)

It's two-pronged for me. On the one hand, it's a tiny little fishing village in Skåne, Sweden (the south, across the sea from Denmark) where we had a house for 16 years and lived there all year round...

This might not be the most enticing option, but if you start to feel really low, perhaps you could contact your GP for some antidepressants? The SSRIS's are non-addictive and apparently very helpful....
