Do it the other way round, get a vehicle booked from somewhere to deliver it back to where you live then book a ticket to fly to pick it up, that way you haven't got an issue getting home.

Cant give you any help but its typical of Federal Government here who oversee the visa and State Government who write the rules they want regarding qualifications and who can do what.

I got a plan with vodafone nearly two years ago, gives me 360 minutes, 50 texts and 250 mb of data = $69/month. I dont think they do it any more though.
