Re: Epic Newspaper Fail

It's been edited. The original was just as much of a layout fail, and was from nearly three years ago.

Re: What percentage of your salary do you spend on rent?

25%. I'd be willing to spend up to 33% on the right place, but certainly no more than that.

Re: Super Sunday

What planet do you live on? Liverpool's biggest problem is that its players can't be arsed with 36 games of the year. The only time they put in any real effort and show what they are capable of is...

Re: Can the body cope with 50C?

I think it's Alt-G (the one to the right hand side of the space bar) and 0176 on your numpad.

Re: Returning on a Tourist Visa

Re: Can the body cope with 50C?

It's where the Windows button would be.

Look in the bottom left of yours screen, you've got:

Fn cltrl alt cmd spacebar. It might also be called Option or marked with ⌥.

Re: Can the body cope with 50C?

It's easy to do on a Mac. It's just alt+0. Another example of Windows' insistence on using alt to tab to the menu bar as being a waste of keyboard shortcuts. ;)

And far too technical. Besides, most don't have their own domain.

A far simpler way if you use gmail is to do username+shop@gmail.com where you put a + and the shop name between your username and...

Re: Who can't you stand on your TV?

Michio Kaku.

Don't get me wrong, there are things he's in where I enjoy watching him. But then there are shows like Sci Fi Science: Physics of the Impossible, which just make me cringe and want to...

True about the Emirates part, but then you've also go Ryanair and Easyjet. Both all economy (in fact, super economy) airlines with no rich parent airlines company.

Re: Abu Dhabi move, Al Hosn gas and girlfriend

Just as no one has explicitly said this yet, I'll say it.

You cannot legally live with the opposite sex anywhere in the UAE – or Gulf for that matter – unless they are your wife, or family.

Nor can...

Re: Dubai to Fujairah by car - best route?

2:30-3 hours I think depending on where you are in Dubai.

Take either Umm Sequim or the 66 to the 611 and then head towards Sharjah. Then take the 88 and it'll take you all the way to...

Re: Arrived in Dubai!

It'll be there for another 18 months or so. Emirates Crown end isn't so bad though. You're quite far away from the bulk of the road works, so noise shouldn't be an issue.
