The Torbay (North Shore) Butchers does a really good black pudding, it's as good as I ever had in the UK.

Worth a visit if you are up this way.

Great pork sausages as well.

You can get a bus from the Britomart (train station on Queen Street Auckland direct to Albany in about 25 minutes if its a one or two stop bus. Then you'll need to get a bus across to Torbay another...

We have settled on Torbay on the North Shore lots of expats up here, South Auckland you need to be a bit careful where you look some nice some not so nice.
Great beaches and reserves everywhere, but...

Have to grin and bear it with the flight, unless you have the cash to go first class. I was awake for 26 hours, as my son could'nt settle so I had to stay awake to look after him. We went for a hotel...
