Aged Parent visa VS Parent visa

I would like to know the difference between Aged Parent visa and parent visa ? as iam confused between them .
Also in terms of waiting period.

I got the other option . my meds were expired in march 2009 and pcc may 2009 then got grant visa in late march 2009 till validation sept 2009. hope this would help

Then i guess it MAY happen to get an extension and MAY NOT !!

Anyway i was ready to REDO meds and pcc at anytime if requested. but thx god there was no request.

I have had my meds in march 2008 and pcc june 2008
visa granted march 2009 , have to validate by sept 2009
got extension and same happened to others to get an extension so no wo worries.

i did same second day email grant i recieved so headed to australian embassy in cairo and got it in 30 mins waiting time.
got a question here if i got to validate before end of...

i have got it stamped the day next to grant letter 18 and 19 march .
only grant letter and passport after 30 mins i got it stamped. but that wasnt in london embassy.if this could help
